Fastener Expo Eurasia Opens Its Doors in Istanbul Fastening and Fixing Solutions Come Together Under One Roof in Istanbul
Fastener Expo Eurasia – Eurasia Industrial Fasteners and Fixings Trade Fair, Türkiye’s only dedicated meeting platform for the industrial fasteners and fixings sector, has opened its doors in Istanbul. Organized by Reed Tüyap Fairs Inc. in cooperation with the Fasteners Industrialists and Businesspeople Association (BESİAD), the fair will welcome industry professionals at the Tüyap Fair and Congress Center from September 17–20, 2026.
Organized by Reed Tüyap Fairs Inc. with the contributions of the Republic of Türkiye Ministry of Trade and the support of the Fasteners Industrialists and Businesspeople Association (BESİAD), Fastener Expo Eurasia opened with the participation of Ahmet Güleç, Vice President of the Turkish Exporters Assembly (TİM); Çetin Tecdelioğlu, Vice President of the Turkish Exporters Assembly (TİM); Sinan Topuk, Chairman of the Board of the Association of Fastener Industrialists and Businesspeople (BESİAD); Gökhan Kocabaş, Chairman of the Board of the Furniture Accessories Manufacturers Association (MAKSDER); Haluk Yıldız, Chairman of the Board of the MDF and Chipboard Industrialists Association (YOMSAD); Berkan Öner, General Manager of Reed Tüyap Fairs Inc.; and representatives from across the industry.
Bringing together different stages of the industry, from fasteners and production machinery to heat treatment and surface treatment technologies, as well as measurement and quality control systems, Fastener Expo Eurasia highlights Türkiye’s manufacturing capacity and export potential alongside high-value-added fastening and fixing solutions.
With the opening of the fair, products and technologies addressing the needs of the automotive, machinery, construction, energy, home appliance, furniture, defense, aerospace and other industrial sectors are being presented to professional visitors. In addition to standard products, the fair showcases custom-made and high-strength fasteners, along with technologies focused on production efficiency, quality, measurement, surface treatment and process control.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Ahmet Güleç, Vice President of the Turkish Exporters Assembly (TİM), emphasized that Türkiye’s strong supply industry makes a significant contribution to the competitiveness of its manufacturing sector.
“Türkiye continues to advance its industries through the strength of its domestic supply base and the designs and patents developed within it. Hardware and accessories, in particular, are increasing our competitiveness across global markets. We are all working toward the same goal together with our colleagues who contribute to this success. I hope the fair delivers strong results for our industry and our companies,” Güleç said.
Çetin Tecdelioğlu, Vice President of the Turkish Exporters Assembly (TİM), noted that Intermob’s uninterrupted 28-year journey represents a significant achievement and emphasized that complementary industries such as furniture accessories, hardware and fasteners collectively generate considerable economic value.
“We need to take these figures even further. To achieve this, we must produce more, export more and increase our share of global markets through sustainable and digital growth. We should welcome more than 5,000 international guests in the best possible way, build strong business relationships and turn these meetings into orders,” Tecdelioğlu said.

Sinan Topuk, Chairman of the Association of Fastener Industrialists and Businesspeople (BESİAD), described Fastener Expo Eurasia, held every two years, as one of the most important industry events in Türkiye.
“This year, we expect approximately 5,000 visitors, more than 1,000 of whom are expected to come from international markets. Through the work carried out by the fair organization in cooperation with BESİAD, we have reached qualified buyers with genuine purchasing potential. Our previous edition was a highly productive event that delivered positive results for our exhibitors. We expect this year’s fair to be equally productive,” Topuk said.
Fastener Expo Eurasia brings together different components of the manufacturing ecosystem on a single platform. Alongside leading manufacturers from Türkiye, the fair also features international exhibitors and represented brands including Arnold Umformtechnik, Helmut Fischer and ibg Prüfcomputer from Germany; Mitutoyo from Japan; Bowman Analytics from the United States; Arun Technology from the United Kingdom; and Alfirs Hardware from Thailand.

With a market size of approximately USD 3 billion, Türkiye’s fasteners industry ranks as Europe’s second-largest manufacturing hub, with annual production exceeding 1 million tons, more than 250,000 product variants and exports of approximately USD 800 million.
In addition to its production capacity, the sector’s custom manufacturing capabilities, engineering infrastructure and broad product range serving different industrial applications continue to strengthen its position within international supply chains.

The fair also covers heat treatment, carburizing, carbonitriding, hardening, tempering and surface treatment solutions. Measurement systems, coating thickness analysis, XRF technologies, crack detection and non-destructive testing systems, together with sensors and process monitoring technologies for pressure, force, torque and acceleration measurement, complete the range of solutions supporting quality assurance and manufacturing processes.
